Let The Music Move You, Not Constant Chatter! :-)

When you schedule a Free Planning Meeting to see if I would be the right DJ for your Celebration?, I will give you free of charge a couple CD's of actual Wedding Receptions to hear first hand how the announcements are made & music is mixed.

I prefer to let the "Music Move You" then inundate with constant chatter.  Not many Mobile DJ's can lay claim to over 5 years of Club DJ Experience, I know how to control the energy on the dance floor & sense when they need a slow song or when to keep the party moving.  I put the music first & foremost and you can really hear the difference over my High Quality Sound System. ________________________________________________________________________________________

MASTER of CEREMONIES

Bruce: Owner/DJ

Announcements during an event are important & should be heard so guest aren't caught off guard & miss out on any of the fun.  A bride to be recently told me of a reception she attended where she felt clueless about some of the activities going on because either announcements were absent or hard to understand.

Sound checks testing speaker coverage in a room before guest enter is very important.  Good coordination between the Catering Staff, Photographer, Videographer is key along with letting guest know as important activities such as the Toasts are approaching.

So, I'm not the high energy comedic type DJ that dances, etc.  I'm not dead either & again I'd be happy to share CD's of Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions I've played for but I'm best describe as low key & well suited for Formal Affairs but I do great working Teen Dances as well.  I've played the last two years for the Hugh O'Brian Leadership Conference Teen Dance at the Downtown Sheraton & they loved my work.

Pictures from those dances on my website:

I do have Interactive Games like the Traditional Limbo Stick, Hula Hoops & do plenty of encouraging for the participation dances such as: Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide, Macarena, Conga Line, Chicken Dance, Twist & Swing Contest when you want this type of campy fun.

Who's on your guest list that is the "Life of the Party" types?, they talk a little louder & far from shy because they are the 1st ones on the dance floor & quickly become the DJ's new best friends.  Even before they step on the dance floor, it's easy for an experienced DJ to tell where the people that came to have fun are at & I'll approach them & seek out some dance requests to make sure your event starts off right & Keeps the Party Moving!

I rarely sit down.  I stay visible & approachable by guest as much as possible.  When ok with the hosts of an event, I make announcements encouraging guest to feel welcome about making requests be for their Dining or Dancing enjoyment.  If it's a Wedding Reception, I might challenge the married guest to remember their own 1st Dance &  make a dedication to their husband or wife.

    ICE BREAKERS

I've got fun "Ice Breakers" that aren't complicated & sure to cause some laughter.

"Ring The Bell" is a Wedding Reception ice breaker favorite but my way is different & has a twist to get your guest involved in the fun.

(List of "Ice Breakers" is given to host well in advance to decide which if any they would like included in the festivities.)

Burning a Live CD of Wedding Ceremonies & Special Moments from the Receptions: Toasts, 1st Dances, etc. is a nice touch that not many DJ Services offer.  The Pro Series Sony Recorder I use cost over $600.

All that sound equipment is not intended to blow anyone out of a room, it's the opposite.  With my Sound System I can create all the energy I need on the dance floor w/o pushing the system to an extreme.  You can drive me out of a huge banquet room with a Boom Box cranked & pushed to distortion levels.  Yes, I'm an Audiophile Geek & proud of it.  $400. Handmade Interconnect Cables from Transparent Cables: http://www.transparentcable.com the good stuff makes a difference you can hear! :-)

Karaoke Parties:  Shari, http://www.sharimusic.com  what a Talent & she is available to help with Karaoke events & sing at Wedding Ceremonies/Receptions for now till brighter lights consume her time.  Meet Shari August 26th, 2007 when she joins me at the West Orange Bridal Association's Fall Bridal Show at the Florida Hotel & Conference Center from 12:30pm -4:00pm.

Eve: http://www.orlandomobiledj.com/eve.htm  Intelligent (Attorney by Day) & Beautiful (Models on Weekends)
She is my alter ego for events that call for some dance instructions & someone to mix it up with the crowd getting wall flowers on the floor.  She also helps w/Karaoke Parties & is always eager to be one half of a duet when requested.

Great Sound System w/Music you want to hear mixed to keep energy on the dance floor is what I specialize in.
